Every solution employs a variety of proven and patented technologies designed to protect email for organisations from 1 to 100,000 users.\r\n\r\nSpam, phishing and virus protection.\r\nSpam evolves constantly. No single analytic technique is enough to stop it. SonicWALL uses 14 different techniquesincluding advanced IP reputation, SonicWALL GRIDprint analysis, Adversarial Bayesian filtering, Image Inference analysis and moreto not only block spam, phishing and virus emails, but to also confidently ensure delivery of good email.\r\n\r\nIP reputation and connection management.\r\nSonicWALL Advanced Reputation Management utilises not only a messages sender IP reputation, but also the reputation of its content, structure, links, images, attachments and more. Moreover, Advanced Reputation Management also provides directory harvest attack (DHA) protection, Denial of Service (DoS) protection, backscatter/ NDR protection and more, all with comprehensive logging and reporting.\r\n\r\nZombie detection.\r\nSonicWALL Email Security solutions protect your email server's IP reputation by detecting and stopping zombie generated outbound spam, phishing and virus email. In addition, SonicWALL Email Security can scan and apply compliance rules to outbound email and attachments.\r\n\r\nCompliance management.\r\nSonicWALL offers advanced detection and routing techniques for email compliance management, including compliance dictionaries, record-id (pattern) matching, encryption routing, archive storage/retrieval routing, and approval box routing.\r\n\r\nAutomatic updates.\r\nEvery five minutes, the dynamic SonicWALL GRID Network automatically updates SonicWALL GRIDprint and IP reputation information for each SonicWALL email protection solution, as well as user and group LDAP entries; spam word-and-phrase content; and SonicWALL GRID Anti-Virus and McAfee® and/or Kaspersky® anti-virus signatures as required.\r\n\r\nPolicy management.\r\nSonicWALL streamlines inbound and outbound email policy management. For instance, administrators can easily customise rules to simply detect and block specific types of attachments; reroute e-mail from competitors; or check all outbound e-mail for specific words and phrases.\r\n\r\nMonitoring & reporting.\r\nSonicWALL Email Security solutions self-monitor their functionality and performance, and can automatically generate alerts. For reporting, administrators can easily customise granular or system-wide reports and charts on threats, compliance, policy, connection management and more, and have these reports automatically generated and emailed as required.\r\n\r\nEnd-user control.\r\nEmpowering users while retaining full IT control, SonicWALL flexibly adjusts to the needs of your organisation.
