The omnidirectional and long-range scanning capabilities let you read all types of codes from any angle, with perfect good-read feedback every time. The PowerScan DPM models include the latest optics and software from Datalogic, to make the reading of codes with DPM easier and more intuitive. There are enough connectivity and networking options to suit all your needs. Your job is simple: aim, trigger, decode.

The PowerScan 9500 series performance is unmatched in the handheld scanner sector. Each unit is built to last and the model is tested to an incredible 10 million trigger hits. You can work comfortably from shift to shift, with the full knowledge that the IP65 rating will keep you free from particulate contamination and water ingress, as well as the ability to withstand at least 50 drops onto concrete from a height of 2 m. This resilience ensures that you get the lowest possible total cost of ownership as your PowerScan continues to perform day in and day out. The scanner window, cradle contacts, and battery are all easily replaceable in the field so that you can keep on working with minimal disruption. The PowerScan 9500 range is the only scanner you will need.

Whether you require a wired or cordless model, with or without physical keys, or require long distance code reading capability, there is a model to suit your needs. Datalogic has equipped the PowerScan 9500 series with 3GL (Three Green Lights) technology to ensure optimum good-read feedback. With the unique Green Spot visual feedback on the object you are scanning, you also have a direct visual green indicator feedback on the top and rear of the unit. All of this is accompanied with a loud beep when the operator is working in conditions where visibility is poor. The reading performance is further enhanced on models equipped with liquid lens technology for reading of combined standard, wide, and high-density codes.

In today’s warehousing, logistics, and manufacturing operations there are a number of connectivity options available. The PowerScan 9500 series is equipped with the right technology to ensure scan data works seamlessly with your enterprise software. Depending on your network setup, it is possible to utilize serial RS-232, USB, RS-485, Ethernet and Industrial Ethernet to assure compatibility within your scanner or cradle hardware configuration. The proprietary Datalogic STAR™ radio is a narrow band radio that guarantees no interference with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth™ systems. Although we try to ensure you are never out of network range, the batch mode feature on the scanners saves data to internal memory when the scanner is offline or out of range.
