The PCI Express card by Delock expands a PC by four external USB 5 Gbps ports. Each port is supported by a single Renesas chip, which provides a high data transfer rate. Different USB devices such as docking stations, card reader, external enclosure etc. can be connected. Due to the vertical direction of the USB 5 Gbps ports, it is possible to install it into a low profile slot.
No additional power supply Due to the on-board 5 V DC power supply control, the PCIe card does not require any additional power supply. With the help of the four jumpers, the current can be limited to 900 mA or 1.5 A on each USB port.
