This docking station by Delock can be connected to a MacBook with two adjacent Thunderbolt 3 ports, e.g. the MacBook Pro. It is also possible to insert one of the two USB-C plugs into the housing, so that the docking station can also be connected to other devices such as a smartphone, tablet or laptop. One monitor with 4K 30 Hz can be operated at the HDMI output port. One built-in USB Type-C port and two USB Type-A ports allows the use of peripherals.

USB Type-C pass-through
One of the two USB-C female ports is coupled to the insertable USB-C plug. This means that when it is extended (when used with a MacBook), the USB-C female port (pass-through) provides the full function of the USB-C interface. This port can transmit data at 10 Gbps, charge the device (PD 3.0), or connect another monitor with a resolution of up to 4K 60 Hz. In addition, as with MST, two additional monitors can be operated independently of each other (extended display).
If the docking station is only operated with one USB Type-C port, the USB-C (pass-through) female port has no function.

Integrated Card Reader
In addition, the docking station with integrated card reader expands mobile devices by an SD and a Micro SD slot via the USB Type-C connection.

USB Power Delivery (USB PD 3.0) support up to 100 watt
The docking station has a USB Type-C Power Delivery port to connect the power supply of the laptop or tablet to charge it. The docking station can also be used without a power supply.

Small sturdy helper
Due to its small dimensions and its sturdy housing, this Delock docking station is particularly suitable for travelling. It can simply be packed into the bag together with the laptop and used as needed.

Note
Only one additional external monitor can be connected to MacBook devices with M1, M2 and M3 chipset. MacBook devices with M1 Pro, M2 Pro, M3 Pro and M3 Max chipset can connect two or more additional external monitors. Further information is available at www.apple.com.
