What This Product Does
AP8635-E, the Omada Pro AX1800 Indoor/Outdoor WiFi 6 access point, delivers speeds of up to 1.8 Gbps, which are boosted by the latest WiFi 6 technology such as 1024-QAM, BSS Coloring, and more. A built-in Gigabit Ethernet port allows a smooth network for demanding outdoor environments, such as yards, swimming pools, outdoor cafés, parks, and more. PoE+ support also provides flexible installations. Two detachable external antennas for 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz provide optimal coverage and greater flexibility for your network.
Integrated into the Omada solution, AP8635-E runs efficiently. Centralized and remote management liberates and reduces maintenance costs.
Enterprise-Grade WiFi 6 Speeds and High-Density Connectivity
Powered by the latest WiFi 6 technology, the AP8635-E delivers speeds of up to 1.8 Gbps, providing 1201 Mbps on 5 GHz and 574 Mbps on 2.4 GHz. Beamforming, Band Steering, and Airtime Fairness also ensure network efficiency.
OFDMA and MU-MIMO greatly improve multi-user efficiency to provide simultaneous connections for dozens of clients in large open areas. Connectivity will not only focus on wireless cameras, laptops, tablets, mobile phones, and wireless speakers but also a wider range of other devices.‡ Fast Roaming always empowers smooth connectivity and ensures customers enjoy uninterrupted streaming when moving around by switching clients automatically to access points with the optimal signal.? Moreover, equipped with an IP67 weatherproof enclosure, AP8635-E can survive the most harsh environments, offering new possibilities.
Long-Range and Flexible Coverage
AP8635-E is equipped with two detachable external antennas and high-power amplifiers to provide robust and extensive wireless coverage in various outdoor environments. The maximum range reaches up to 200 meters over the 2.4 GHz band and 300 meters over the 5 GHz band.
Cloud-Based Centralized Management
The Omada Software-Defined Networking (SDN) platform provides 100% centralized cloud management and creates a highly scalable network controlled from a single interface. Seamless wireless connections are provided, making them ideal for use in hotels, education, retail, offices, and more.
Easy Deployment and Installation

With Mesh technology, AP8635-E saves you from extra wires by wirelessly extending your WiFi signal further and more flexibly to hard-to-wire areas. Intelligent self-organization optimizes the best path between Omada access points, while self-healing ensures you stay online even when one AP is disrupted.
- PoE Support
AP8635-E supports both 802.3at PoE+ and Passive PoE power supply. It can be either powered by a PoE switch or the provided PoE adapter for convenient deployment.
- Omada App
Follow the configuration instructions on the free Omada app to get set up in minutes. Omada lets you configure settings, monitor the network status, and manage clients, all from the convenience of a smartphone or tablet.
