OG-UDC is an openGear 10-bit broadcast quality up, down, cross-converter that bridges HD and SD video resolutions. The OG-UDC provides 3G-SDI input and output, HDMI output and two 3-pin terminal block connectors for analog audio Outputs.
Designed for use in high density openGear 2RU frames including AJAs OG-3-FR 2RU frame, new DashBoard Software support on Windows, macOS and Linux offers remote control and monitoring of the openGear architecture and provides convenient and industry standard configuration, monitoring and control options over a PC or local network.
AJA hardware conversion technology\nAJA's powerful hardware conversion technology ensures the highest image quality for your productions. Key conversion features include:\n- SD/HD up/down-conversion\n- SD/SD aspect ratio conversion\n- HD/HD cross-conversion (720p/1080i)\n- Up/down/cross-conversion with both the input and converted formats on SD/HD SDI outputs (both synchronized)
OG-UDC can up or down-convert between SD, HD, and 3G HD (1080p50/60), and cross-convert between HD formats including 3G HD.
openGear Compatibility\nThe openGear standard ensures that AJA cards will be compatible with other openGear products from certified openGear partners. With a growing list of products, openGear is the future of rackframe products.
Flexible I/O\nThe modular rear panel allows custom I/O connections per card (included with individual cards).
Failsafe\nThe optional redundant power supply provides a secondary power source in the event of a primary power failure.
Ethernet Access\nA standard Ethernet connection allows the frame to be accessed via the Dashboard application for overall frame communication. Optional per-card Ethernet access can be installed in the frame for advanced communication with compatible openGear cards.
