HP 0x2x32 KVM Server Console Switch G2 with Virtual Media CAC Software Do your administrators need a comprehensive solution to manage multiple servers in a single device? The HP Server Console Switch G2 integrates KVM and serial devices into a single management console for all your servers, network devices and infrastructure. HP Server Console Switches allows multiple servers in a rack to be accessed and managed by one keyboard, monitor, and mouse. The 8-port and 16-port Server Console Switches feature an On-Screen Display (OSD) interface, which has intuitive menus for accessing each attached computer or serial attached device. Equipment can be identified by a user-defined name or sequentially by number, enabling easy access. Switches can be connected in a tiered fashion, to increase server access from eight servers to as many as 256 servers. Switching between computers is accomplished by typing a switching command at the keyboard, or by using the mouse to interact with the graphic interface of the selected computer via the OSD. The HP Server Console switch G2 provides a true (keyboard, video monitor, and mouse) KVM solution for local system management which allows multiple servers in a rack to be accessed and managed. The HP Server Console Switch G2 can manage up to 256 computers running different operating systems. The 8-port and 16-port Server Console Switches feature an On-Screen Display (OSD) interface, which has intuitive menus for accessing each attached computer or serial attached device. The HP Server Console switch G2 can be connected in a tiered fashion to increase access from eight to 256 servers. Switching between computers is accomplished by typing a switching command at the keyboard, or by the mouse to interact with the graphic interface of the selected computer via the OSD. The HP Server Console switch G2 Multiple offers PS/2, USB, VT 100 serial console support, and BladeSystems support via front diagnostics connector interface adapters for server connections.
